Purpose of Investment
To build a 700 square metre multipurpose training centre and begin programming for agricultural training for inhabitants of Stung Treng province in NE Cambodia.
1. Successful project conclusion will see the construction of a 700 m. sq., two-story multipurpose training facility on Asian Outreach Cambodia’s (AOC) project site in Stung Treng Province. This centre will enable AOC to trial and model agricultural techniques and train local farmers in intensive farming practices on site. The building will also provide trainee accommodation and kitchen facilities for those who travel long distances.
2. The facility will contain classrooms used for teaching vocational courses to local youth and business people, including classes in computer, English language, construction, sewing, mechanics, etc. Construction course students will undergo practical training as they participate in the building of the training centre. The facility will also serve local church outreach and training in the Stung Treng community.
3. All AOC northern offices will be housed in this facility, enabling strategic placement for expansion further into the region.
