Partner ~ Step 4: Report

Bridgeway requires written reporting from partners every six months during the term of the grant.   Reporting back on grant results are one concrete way we are able to determine if there has been a positive spiritual or social ROI to communities on the investment we have made.

When you are advised of your approved grant, our letter will outline a proposed payment and reporting schedule.   If you desire, you can propose your own report due dates based on your organization’s own reporting cycle for other agencies or funders.

Reports to Bridgeway should follow the Reporting Template, found here

Your reports to Bridgeway are meant to tell us about the progress you've experienced to date, such as:

  • Measuring the project against goals you determined in your original project application
  • A description of outcomes to date
  • Personal story (and digital photo, if possible) of how an individual has been impacted through your project to date
  • Updated budget versus actual financial report for the project

Reports can be emailed to Bridgeway at info [at] bridgewayfoundation [dot] ca as *.pdf or *.doc files, with the subject line clearly indicating it is a report from your organization.  For photos, please send *.jpg or *.gif files as separate attachments.

Be assured that each and every report received at Bridgeway is read in great detail and is made available to all Bridgeway members.  All reports, photos and other materials received in response to our reporting requirement become property of Bridgeway, and are subject to being shared with the public unless you label the report as “confidential” due to sensitive information being shared.

We will respond to every report by letter.  If you do not receive a written response from Bridgeway within four weeks of your report, please contact us to verify it has been received.
