Delivering hope in Afghanistan

A dinner hosted by His Excellency Omar Samad and Mrs. Khorsheid Samad was held on June 28, 2007 in Ottawa at Afghan House to honour Bridgeway's leadership in funding shipments of medical aid which will benefit 113,000 Afghans through Health Partners International of Canada. In October 2007, Executive Director Mark Petersen, visited HPIC's partner at CURE International hospital in Kabul.

Colombians reach out to their communities

Bridgeway partnered with World Vision to launch an initiative that would train 100 Colombian volunteers over a two-year period to develop sustainable, grassroots microprojects designed to impact their local communities. Bridgeway Executive Director Mark Petersen visited these projects in July 2008, and was present to hand out university-level diplomas to graduates of the program.
