Information for those applying for Bridgeway grants in 2010 December 22, 2009

Bridgeway's board met on December 21, 2009 and approved two rounds of granting for eligible Canadian charities in 2010. As in previous years, Bridgeway will continue to assist organizations seeking our assistance from the Capacity Building, Innovation, and Cambridge Funds. We are pleased to be able to offer grants to eligible organizations following a period of fallowness.
The first round of granting will focus exclusively on building capacity in eligible charities as we participate in the Stronger Together 2010 initiative described here. The application window for these grants will be open between January 2 and February 28, 2010. Applicants must apply via the Stronger Together 2010 website. Following a process of due diligence, Bridgeway grants for this initiative will be announced in June 2009.
The second round of granting will focus on stimulating innovation in Canadian Christian charities and partnering with local charities through our Innovation and Cambridge Funds. Applications can be made following the process described here, and will be received beginning midway through 2010. Grants for these funds will be announced in December 2010.
