Grants available for good governance training

Board table for fiveNeed help with your charity’s board?  Bridgeway Foundation is offering five Capacity Building grants for good governance training through the Not-For-Profit Governance Institute in Guelph, Ontario to be held Tuesday evenings, April 1 to May 6.  Grants will cover 50% of the total cost of the course, and are available to any Canadian registered charity that has received a Bridgeway Foundation grant in the past.  We are making five grants available immediately to the first eligible organizations who apply. The participant attending the course from partner charities must be the executive director or a member of their board.

Bridgeway co-founder, Reg Petersen, has worked with NFPGI in the past, and will lead one of the week’s sessions.  He will address strategic planning and the use of scorecards for evaluation and mission focus during one of the April sessions.
